ELMNet Loan Inquiry uses a combination of real-time loan inquiry and data retrieved from our central database to provide up-to-date information on your student loans.  Real-time Inquiry processing sends you real-time data received electronically from your loan provider or third-party service provider.

Loan data retrieved from ELM's database is refreshed daily, and in some cases hourly by institutions providing data.  While the data displayed is the most current, you may find that additional education loans you have are not reflected here.  So if you have questions on your outstanding loans, as well as loans not reflected here, please contact your school's financial aid office or lender directly.

Borrowers must first sign in to use ELM's services.

ELMSelect

ELMSelect is a borrower financial aid comparison resource that allows schools to display their recommended lenders for private loans.  Their students can compare, evaluate, and select the best lender for their particular loan requirements.

Over 500 colleges and universities use ELMSelect to display lender information to their students.

With ELMSelect, choosing the right lender is as easy as 1-2-3.

View the lender information provided by your specific school.  If you'd like to consider other options, ELM also provides a comprehensive neutral list of additional lenders.

Narrow your choice based on your loan needs.  ELMSelect's easy to use interface allows you to select the lenders you're considering from your school's lender information.

To start the application process or get more information, select the "Apply Now" button associated with the lender you select.  Just remember that you control when you want to apply.

Now go to ELMSelect to look for your school!

Accessing Student Loan Borrower Information

As a service to ELM affiliated schools, ELMNet provides student loan borrowers with access to their loan records.  The module below will instruct a student on how to request a User ID and Password to view their student loans.
